My daughter had read some reviews before our float trip so we were prepared for just about anything. If you aren’t expecting any type of luxury this is the trip for you. We did the float trip with a light lunch and wine tasting. The float trip was wonderful, beautiful scenery and a very interesting guide. The light lunch was just that – they provided water, some fruit, chips, turkey rollups,cookies, etc. Do not pay extra for the wine tasting. They simply tell you to go to Challenger Ridge, which is about 15 miles back on Hwy 20 towards I5 and show them a card from the float trip. The thing is, Challenger Ridge gives you 4 free tastings anyway, without the card. It was what it was, and we enjoyed our time on the river.
