A group of us from work purchased the float trip/lunch/wine tasting trip from TravelZoo. We went on the last day of September. Our guide Joe was fantastic. We had some white water, mostly 2s, which was fine since we had some people who were not thrilled with any white water. Joe was very patient with our group of crazy, wild and loud teachers. He was knowledgeable about the river, the animals and was willing to share his knowledge but was not pushy about it. He showed extreme patience with our wilder moments and we all appreciated him very much. The only down side was the lack of anything remotely like a lunch and by the end of our trip we were quite hungry. A good lunch would have been a great ending to a trip on an incredibly beautiful fall day.
